i love a good ritual and sunday dinners at cait and curt's is about as good as it gets. most weeks, on sunday, james and i cross the river for dinner at my sister, cait's. we usually tote a bag of goodies from the market and cait and my brother-in-law, curt, are already busy preparing our meal when we arrive.
the particulars are different: the food, the conversation, the soundtrack playing in the background, but the sense is the same. there is dinner served in cast iron pans and cheesy snacks to tide us over before that.
i don't know how long we'll all be in this city, but i do know this is hands down my favorite part about living here.
