For the past month or so I've been working on a freelance history project with the Brooklyn Historical Society and a public school in the city. Together with a group of ten 4th and 5th graders, I've been exploring the history of this little corner of Brooklyn. We're studying canals and factories and retractile bridges! Here, colorful shots of the Carroll Street Bridge for your Tuesday. Later today, more thoughts over on The Equals Record.
